Color Guard
The color guard was provided by members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Col. Edward D. Baker Camp # 6, Eugene/Springfield, Oregon, and the Northwest Civil War Council. Taps played by Steven G. Betschart,
Co. B, 71st Pennsylvania Infantry, Sons of Veterans Reserves. For a complete list of names, please see below.
They did a wonderful job, and we thank them. See pictures below of the raising of the flag, the 21 gun salute, and more. Thanks to Mr. Slavik for organizing this portion of today's events.
