Helping the Columbian Cemetery Periodically, the folks at the Cemetery hold clean up days, and they always need volunteers to help. If you're interested, please email families@fohcc.org and we'll forward the information to the appropriate party (meaning, the person running the next clean up, since it varies). That person will notify you of the details of the next clean up day. Things accomplished at the last clean up day, held on February 26, 2002: Mowed, picked up branches, raked chestnuts, pruned trees, cut suckers and blackberries, and made plans to paint out graffiti on the toolshed and wall of an adjoining building which faces the cemetery. Please note: we here at this site aren't involved in the organization of clean up days, nor are we members of the Columbian Cemetery board.
